Project Intention

In line with the project „FairCare“ a system will be developed within 30 months. The system will interface the continual increasing demand for support and care services with available supplies from different organisations and facilities. With the help of state-of-the-art technologies access to services and client groups and simultaneously a fast service delivery should be relieved.

Quality standards for organisations and voluntary facilities are therefore a uniform service level in the participating region.

Project Background

„Aging in familiar environment!“ – After this desire most people aspire. With increasing age, living in the own home often is challenging.

To preserve the life quality in elderly people homes, in a professional care facility or an alternative living form therefore support is necessary. The support can be handled by family members but also by different organisations like mobile care services, voluntaries or other service providers.

The use of resources to support is often inefficient and fails to make the needed relief for family members. With a web-based solution, FairCare allows optimal merging and coordination of demand and available supplies.

Project Goal

The overall goal of „FairCare“ is to develop a sustainable solution, which

coordinates professional care, voluntary work, informal care and further services
satisfies the legal and social requirements of different countries
maintains life quality of elderly persons and their relatives within their environment
assures qualitative high support by verification and certification

CHARACTERISTIC OF THE INNOVATION PROCESS

FairCare is an innovative, holistic solution for a platform-based system which interfaces the demand for care and support for elderly people with the available supplies.

Integrating differently stakeholders should not only improve the level of information on regional services for elderly people, but the stakeholders should contribute to the social inclusion and enable acceptance and participation from elderly people to the society.

Even the awareness for requirements of elderly people and their relatives, as well visibility and recognition of social commitment should be strengthened by FairCare: The platform will support access to voluntary work and inform about operational and support possibilities.

By involving all participating end-users in all participating countries (Italy, Netherlands, Switzerland, Spain, Hungary, Austria) during the development, the different needs and requirements can be captured optimally.
